Team Leader of Software Development School at Mosaic Works SRL

We are a fast-growing agile and lean training company looking for a person to join our excellent team of 12-people. We are based in the Bucharest Hubb near Unirii Square.

As a Team Leader of Software Development School you will:

• Lead a project-launch team for our new software-development teaching programme.
• Later, you will lead the operational activity of our software development teaching business.
• Work closely with our team members on marketing, commercial, financial and administrative matters.
• Coordinate the activity of a small software development team serving Mosaic Works’ internal needs.
• Report directly to the General Manager of Mosaic Works.

As a team leader in Mosaic Works:

You will learn a wide range of new skills & behaviours. These will build on your existing personal productivity behaviours, management behaviours, team-working behaviours, communication behaviours, and technical skills. This is what we are looking for:

• You have been in the software development industry for more than 5-years.
• You co-ordinate various teams in IT software industry. You have experience in understanding customer needs for developing useful IT software products.
• You have a good understanding of the full software development cycle.
• You understand the benefits and adhere to agile, lean and software craftsmanship.
• ScrumMaster or Product Owner experience is a plus.
• Financial knowledge is a plus.
• You are experienced in collaborating with management for removing impediments from your teams.
• You are a continuous learner; you like to read and share your ideas about technology; you take part in the community.

Trainee Position – Technical Coach and Trainer at Mosaic Works SRL

We are a fast-growing agile and lean training company looking for a person to join our excellent team of 10-people. We are based in the Bucharest Hubb near Unirii Square.

You will learn to teach software-development teams to:

• Increase team spirit and to motivate team members by helping them to master new techniques.
• Improve specific parts of how the team develops software: code quality, design, reduce number of bugs, decrease testing time, etc.
• Adopt technical practices like refactoring, continuous integration, pair programming, TDD, etc.
• Improve business indicators like time-to-market, user satisfaction, and return-on-investment.
• The workshops you will deliver are hands-on so you will spend a lot of time writing code.

You will want to constantly improve your knowledge. We will support you in developing your technical, coaching, and teaching skills. In your first three months, you will be mentored and coached by Alexandru Bolboaca, an experienced technical coach and trainer. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to be trained and coached by many well-known names in the industry.

You will travel internationally and in Romania. You will have the chance to work with respected international companies such as Siemens, Alcatel Lucent, Oracle.

This is what we are looking for:

• You have been in software development industry for more than 7-years.
• You worked on various projects and in a range of roles such as developer, technical lead, team leader, but programming is what you love the most.
• You have a strong knowledge of one technology but you know other programming languages and paradigms.
• You are experienced in writing unit tests and with TDD.
• You have mentored or taught programmers and you like to teach.
• You understand the benefits and adhere to agile, lean and software craftsmanship.
• You are a continuous learner; you like to read and share your ideas about technology; you take part in the community.
