Choosing Scrum
Scrum is the most adopted process from the Agile family. Ken Schwaber codeveloped the Scrum process with Jeff Sutherland in the early 1990s to help organizations struggling with complex development projects. Toyota and Lean principles inspired this efficient method. Since then the process itself evolved and improved, so today it is successfully used not only in software development, but also in marketing projects and in books writing, while other domains are starting to try it (e.g. architecture).
Companies choose Scrum for the benefits the process brings with it:
- Productivity and Quality Increase - some Scrum teams are 4-6 times more productive than before, the majority obtain 10-20% improvement
- Stakeholders Satisfaction Increase
- Cost Decrease and Early Return of Investment - software is usable from the first release, at the end of the first iteration
Scrum is a new approach and people are resistant to change. This is why you have to prepare the transition to Scrum. Our experience in introducing agility to the companies will help you to make the transition to the new culture.
